Tenant Screening – Setting the right standards

August 25, 2022

By the Operations Team, Summerfield Management

Tenant screening is important, not only to protect your NOI, but also to protect tenants from signing a lease they can’t afford.

The only way to fill your building with qualified tenants is to set screening standards in key areas and STICK TO THEM.

It can be difficult for On-site staff to reject an application from a potential resident, but in the long run, it’s better for Owner and Tenants when only qualified applicants are approved.

When you work with Summerfield, you can be sure we will work closely with you to set standards that will maximize the success of your community.
