Robert Parmar

Managing Director


After graduating from Business School, Robert worked in multi-family development for a regional developer, then as a broker at Marcus and Millichap for 6 years, and in various roles at Summerfield.

He has been with Summerfield for just over 20 years. Robert works with the executive team to develop company goals, strategy, process, and oversees the company’s day-to-day operation.

When not working you can find him spending quality time with his family, being active, and serving in his community.

Crystal Hillier, CPA

Director of Accounting


Upon graduating with an accounting degree Crystal has spent 15 years in professional accounting concentrated in the real estate industry. Her specific experiences include property management, brokerage, real estate development, and construction. She also has experience with debt restructures, refinancing, and corporate mergers.

She has been with Summerfield for 4 years and currently oversees all financial reporting. She plays a significant role in the development of policy, procedures, internal controls, and that our technology systems are integrated and functioning.

Crystal has two young children and enjoys the outdoors. When she is not working you can find her boating, camping, or snowboarding with her family and friends depending on the season.

David R. Cohen

Marketing Manager

David is a longtime real estate marketing and property management professional based in Seattle, Washington. Prior to joining Summerfield in 2023, David worked in investment real estate and operated a small portfolio of single-family rentals as well as sourcing and brokering deals for other investors.

He also spent several years in commercial real estate media, serving as editor of the monthly Northeast Real Estate Business and Student Housing Business periodicals from 2018-2019 and as content director at Connect CRE from 2019-2022.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, David has been in Seattle since 2022 and enjoys everything Washington has to offer – from seafood and Seattle Mariners games to kayaking and hiking at North Cascades and Mount Rainier national parks.

Jason DuBois

HR Business Partner


Jason has completed two bachelor’s degrees in human resources & business management as well as an MBA with a specialization in human resources. He is also currently in the latter stages of his Ph.D. program with a focus on human resources as well.

He joined Summerfield in August 2023 as Human Resources Business Partner. Jason has 10 years of experience in various aspects of human resources anis responsible for all current human resources functions within the organization. He is also responsible for future growth and development of the department.  

When not working, he spends most of his free time watching sports, going to the gym, and hanging out on the beach. 

Nate Ward

Director of IT Services


Nate completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Prior to working at Summerfield, he held positions in data analysis and technical support, most recently working for a consulting company specializing in automated residential property valuation.

A Summerfield employee for over 6 years, Nate initially worked in research services and over time transitioned into the IT department. Experienced in systems and database administration as well as desktop hardware and software support, he and his team manage the corporate-level IT systems and software-as-a-service platforms used at properties under management. They are responsible for equipment procurement and initial setup of office hardware and software at new management contracts as well as ongoing support and maintenance of the equipment and software necessary to ensure smooth day-to-day operations on site.

Outside of work, Nate enjoys playing the bagpipes, tinkering with electronic and computing projects, biking, and generally exploring everything the outdoors has to offer.
